Maximum safety and proven efficiency during the rehabilitation of the old SEPS plant at Salsigne

When starting the rehabilitation work of this abandoned site (old special waste treatment facility), ORTEC Generale de Depollution was selected for all services involved. In arsenic-contaminated environment, the teams had to respect very strict safety rules and wear restricting personal protection equipment. Numerous agencies from the ORTEC group joined forces with the depollution specialists from ORTEC Generale de Depollution, to sort and package pulverulent arsenious anhydride, mixed special industrial waste and non-hazardous industrial waste, in the buildings as well as in the containers, silos, tanks and cisterns on the site. All polluted materials were transported to approved elimination lines, some after undergoing pretreatment by inerting on site, and the building floors were clean by vacuuming. All waste materials were cleared from the site, on time and in full compliance with safety and prevention requirements throughout the duration of the work site.
